Custom stain mixes can be requested via the "request custom orders" link. Appropriate fee's will apply. I cannot guarantee exact matches, yet I will try my absolute best to get as close to the color choice you've provided me with. I encourage buyers to seek out their former item’s stain shade, as well as the stain manufacturer. There are multiple manufacturers with the same stain shade names.
I highly encourage physical samples to be mailed to my shop for color matching services.

The term "nominal lumber" is used with softwood species (such as pine or fir). The reasons why the nominal dimension of lumber is larger than the actual dimension involves historical practices in the lumber industry. Originally, a 1x6 is cut as a rough green board that is exactly 1" x 6" in size, but by the time the boards are dried and planed, the boards become smaller, approaching the now-standard .75" x 5.5" in size. Shrinkage is more pronounced laterally (across the grain) than it is longitudinally (with the grain), so a board sold as an 8-foot 1x6 is generally very close to the full 8 feet in length. - The Spruce
Your shelf length will always be an actual measurement, and will reflect the option you choose on the drop down menu.

Our farmhouse shelves are more rustic in nature with rounded edges, some knots, and random imperfections that add character to each piece. They have a smooth finish, but are NOT glossy. I do not apply any polyurethane, shellac, wax etc. on my shelving. If you'd like to seal your shelving for use in a moisture prone area, please do not hesitate to ask us for our recommendations in regards to type/brand.

Free shipping is advertised based on shipments made to the continental US only. If your shipping address is located in Hawaii, Alaska, an APO, or a different US territory- shipping costs may be greater. Shipping charges are at the discretion of the seller. If an order is placed from one of the aforementioned locations, you may be sent an additional request for shipping funds OR your order may be cancelled and refunded in full. Additional fee's, etc. are the responsibility of the buyer.

All orders will be sent to the shipping address provided. It is the buyers responsibility to ensure the correct shipping address is corresponding with their order. To verify your shipping address, please locate your purchase invoice. If an order is sent to the incorrect address provided by the buyer- the buyer is responsible for any fee's accumulated for: package re-route, additional postage, etc.
Honeymintshelfco is NOT responsible for lost/stolen/missing packages in the event that your items are sent to an incorrect address provided by the buyer as reflected on your invoice.

ALL shelves are sold as single sale items unless noted otherwise as a “SET”. If you would like to purchase more than one shelf, you may do so by selecting the appropriate quantity from the drop down menu, prior to checkout.

All shelves are made from solid whitewood lumber. Knotting, freckling, insect holes, individual grain patterns, etc. should be expected within our products, as wood is a natural resource, and we embrace it as such. We do not use screen printed laminates, compressed board, or particle board wood substitutes.
All items are hand sanded, and hand finished on site. We do not use any large scale manufacturing facilities to create our products.
