Our shelves are easy to install and are made to withstand heavy weight with proper installation*. We utilize high quality materials including: solid cast iron brackets, hand picked and inspected lumber, custom mixed stain options, color matched hardware, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces. *We encourage all customers to plan ahead by taking proper measurements prior to submitting their order and ensure all brackets are installed properly. Brackets should be installed directly into wall studs for maximum support and stability. Drywall anchors may be used at the buyers discretion and should be rated for the appropriate weight. We recommend utilizing a third support bracket for shelf lengths over 32″.*

I’m disappointed I have to put it together. I was sad to discover a board, no drill holes provided. The brackets were in a separately bag. First time I’ve ever purchased a shelf that wasn’t put together.

As stated in our DM’s, we do not sell any of our shelving assembled unless an installation upgrade is purchased with the order. The installation upgrade requires buyers to provide the proper measurements of which to attach their brackets. The installation upgrade option is directly linked within each and every listing on our site, as well as on our main shop page under “installation upgrades”. I believe in keeping our products as customizable as possible. Allowing buyers to choose their own bracket mounting style/placement is the best way to continue to do that.
